Cebex 100 is supplied as a powder admixture. The material is a combination of a plasticising agent and a gas producing expansion medium.

The plasticising agent allows the use of a reduced water/cement ratio with consequent increased strengths and durability. The expansive medium counteracts the natural settlement and plastic shrinkage of the grout and aids stability and cohesion.

Sufficient restrained expansion is developed to ensure a high degree of inter facial contact.

• Gaseous expansion system compensates for plastic shrinkage and settlement in properly designed cementitious grout.
• Reduced water/cement ratio in the grout mix ensures low permeability and long term durability in service.
• Gives high grout fluidity with low water/cement ratio, thus making placement or injection of the grout easy.

• Nitobond EP Std is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin bonding agent supplied in pre-weighed “kit” form (resin + hardener). 

• It’s designed to bond new concrete or mortar to existing cementitious substrates — i.e. old concrete, masonry, or repair flooring — ensuring strong adhesion and structural integrity. 

• Bonding fresh or new concrete/mortar to existing concrete or masonry surfaces.

• Structural repairs: overlays, floor toppings, patch repairs, grouting of dowel bars or starter bars, industrial floor repair, bonded or granolithic floor toppings. 

• Suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces, including situations where formwork supports the new layer

• Can be used indoors or outdoors; on dry or slightly damp (SSD) concrete surfaces. 

Here are typical technical data / performance metrics of Nitobond EP Std (at ~20 °C unless specified):

• The two components (base + hardener) must be mixed thoroughly. Usually the hardener is poured into the resin/base container and mixed until a uniform colour is achieved — visual cue (“base white + hardener green → uniform grey/colour”) ensures proper mixing. 

• Substrate must be clean, sound, free of dust/laitance/loose material, oil/grease, paint, coatings, etc.. Often the surface is roughened (light scabbling, wire-brushing or grit-blasting) to expose aggregate for better bond. 

• Once mixed, apply by brush (or spray with suitable equipment) to prepared surface. 

• After application, new concrete or mortar should be placed within the overlay/open time window — before the epoxy skin forms and while still tacky. For standard grade: ~90 min at 20 °C; for some slow-set versions, overlay time may be longer (depending on temperature and ambient conditions). 

• Materials: Extruded from a high-grade PVC compound for flexibility and longevity. 
• Sealing principles: Employ both the valve principle (using bulbs) and the tortuous path principle (with a complex cross-section) to prevent water passage. 
• Types: Include centrally placed and externally placed profiles like Hydrofoil, Watafoil, Rearguard, and Angleguard.
