CORCHEM 60 I is a nitrite/nitrate free liquid corrosion inhibitor for reinforced cement concrete. There is little or no effect on the property of the concrete mix, including compressive strength, set time, air entrainment and workability. CORCHEM 60 I, Corrosion Inhibitor can be used in a repair mortar and can be applied by brush or spray over concrete structure to prevent corrosion of embedded steel since it has the unique capability of diffusion and migration into the concrete to protect adjacent existing structural steel reinforcement. CORCHEM 60 I reduces chloride and carbon-di-oxide infiltration into concrete surfaces and is more environmental friendly and less toxic than alternatives. CORCHEM 60 I is a proprietary organic liquid bipolar concrete penetrating corrosion inhibiting admixture for concrete to prevent corrosion of RCC steel anodically and catholically. It effectively blocks corrosion at both sites and improves corrosion protection of concrete steel reinforced structures exposed to high chloride and certain chemical environments.
